Our approach to training ages six through thirteen is simple and fun – teach kids about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, fitness and nutrition early in life during the formative years to raise happy, confident children. Our children are looking at us and modeling what they see. It is important that as parents and caregivers, we are eating healthy and exercising regularly to set a great example for the next generation. Prioritizing fitness and healthy eating are a choice, which is not always easy or convenient but has serious consequences. In today’s busy world of processed, high fat, high-calorie foods we are seeing an increase in childhood obesity, diabetes, and other severe illnesses.

I will coach you and your children through a fitness and nutrition program that you can do together for a healthier happy family. Not only will you be able to instill great values about healthy living, but you will also get to spend quality time with your little ones. You will receive a fitness plan designed for children ages six through thirteen that provides a variety of aerobic activity, muscle strengthening, and bone strengthening to support growth and development. Young children do not need formal muscle-strengthening and should not lift weights; so our program focuses on fun exercises that will not feel like a workout and do not require equipment.
This one-of-a-kind fitness program has a pace that is comfortable for your children, from moderate-intense (walking) to vigorous-intensity activities (running/tag) that increases their heart rate and breathing over time. The goal is to reach at least 60 minutes of activity each day. Dedicate eight weeks to provide consistent physical activity, healthy eating and form new habits as a family, that will last a lifetime.
